When it comes to Christmas decorations I’m a huge fan of purchasing them already made and ready to put up. Then I came across the trend of making your own tree gnomes and thought, wow, this is something that I could make.
Although the DIY tree gnomes can be made with just a few ingredients but they’re absolutely adorable! What’s not to like with a holiday tree adorned with an enormous red glove and a red hat?
Put on an ornament of red or fruits, such as potatoes, pumpkins or squash, to make the nose, and you’ve got yourself a adorable tree gnome.
However, that’s only one tree gnome concept. The possibilities (and entertainment) are limitless using the DIY tree gnome crafts idea.

Decorate the trees that you already have in your yard. If the trees you have are tall and have a lot of height, there’s no need to pull up on a ladder. Just attach a sash to the base, and then put on white tinsel streamers to create beards.
Alternately, you can use fallen branches of fir trees and put them in the tomato cage and add decorations. You can also wrap fake garland on the stand of a wreath and decorate it.
Do you see what I’m talking about? There are tons of fun ideas. And they’re very simple and require only some minutes to design (as it’s possible to have all the ingredients readily available).
