Meat Croquettes Recipe

Meat Meat Croquettes Ingredients:

1 cup chopped cooked meat

1 tablespoon parsley, minced

1/2 cup soft crumbs

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup thick WHITE SAUCE

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon minced onion

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 egg

Dry, sifted, grated crumbs


Combine meat, soft crumbs, sauce , seasonings, parsley, onion, and 1 egg; mix well and chill. Shape into croquettes. Roll in dry crumbs; dip in egg and roll again in crumbs. Fry in deep hot fat (380°F.) until brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with tomato sauce. Serves 4. Nut and meat croquettes: Substitute 1/2 cup diced, cooked meat and 1/2 cup chopped nuts for chopped cooked meat.
